Box Score

The Lutes came out strong and tallied the first six points of the game and had and early 8-2 advantage. However, the Blugold offense got things going and took the lead at 8:15 in the first half and would never trail again, thanks to hitting six three-pointers (6-for-11, 54.5 percent) in the first frame and shooting 58.1 percent (18-for-31) from the field. At the break, UW-Eau Claire claimed a 43-30 lead.

Pacific Lutheran would pull within five twice in the second half, but a 13-4 Blugold run gave them a 14-point lead midway through the second half and they would not look back.

Despite the Blugold offense cooling off in the second half, Eau Claire still finished the game shooting 47.4 percent from the field (27-for-57) and 42.9 percent (9-for-21) from behind the arc, led by Spencer Page's (So.-Rice Lake, WI) five three-pointers.

Carter Brooks (Jr.-Lakeville, MN/North) led all scorers with 20 points while Page finished with 17 and Cole Rabedeaux (Sr.-Poulsbo, WA/North Kitsap) added 16.
