EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's soccer team was the only team in action today, competing at 10th-ranked Wheaton College (Ill.)
Wheaton, which won 5-0, scored two first half goals at 3:27 and 31:16 to take a 2-0 half time lead. The Thunder came out very aggressive outshooting the Blugolds 20-4 in the first half. The Thunder continued to roll in the second half as they scored three goals in a two-minute span to put the game out of reach. Jackie Nailor led the Blugolds with two shot attempts.
