EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Two UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, men's and women's golf, both on the road.

Women's Golf

Division III Midwest Classic - 5th of 15

The women's golf team finished in fifth place out of 15 teams after two rounds of competition at the Division III Midwest Classic at the Jewel Golf Club. After being tied for ninth place following round one, Kate Engler moved up five spots to tie for fourth with 157 strokes.

Men's Golf

Saint John's Fall Invitational - 8th of 18

After being tied for second after round one of the Saint John's Fall Invitational, the men's golf team dropped back six spots during the second round and finished in eighth place out of 18 teams today. The top Blugold finisher was Joey Dreier, who tied for 22nd place with 156 strokes.
