EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Two UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, men's golf and softball, both on the road.
Men's Golf
Bobby Krig Gustavus Invitational - 2nd of 15
The men's golf team is in second place out of 15 teams after day one of the Bobby Krig Invitational, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.). The Blugolds totaled 612 strokes while Saint John's University (Minn.) leads the field with 601 strokes. Eric Hagstrom, who is golfing as an individual, leads the Blugolds with 150 strokes, tied for fifth place.

Coming off a doubleheader sweep of UW-Stevens Point, the softball team is hitting the home stretch of their schedule. Today they traveled to River Falls for a WIAC doubleheader with the Falcons. The Blugolds came out strong and picked up another sweep with a 6-1 win in game one, and a wild, back-and-forth 11-6 win in game two.
