EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Just two UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, both at home. Women's volleyball hosted the first day of the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament and women's tennis played Winona State University (Minn.).

The Blugolds hosted the first day of the 2013 Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament, which features 11 teams and 18 matches. Nine matches were played on the first day and nine more will be contested Saturday.
