EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's soccer team was the only team in action today, competing at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
While the two teams played close the entire way and the Blugolds led the shot count in the end, Wartburg came away with the 1-0 victory, scoring in the 85th minute.
The Blugolds open conference play Saturday at home.
