EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – With the continued winter weather around Wisconsin, UW-Eau Claire Athletics has announced schedule changes for six teams for this weekend.

The softball team was scheduled to play at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday (April 13) but the doubleheader has been postponed with no makeup date available at this time. The Blugolds are scheduled to play at UW-Stout next Thursday (April 18), an event that was originally postponed two days ago.

The men’s and women’s outdoor track & field multi-event athletes were supposed to compete at UW-River Falls Friday and Saturday but with the meet cancelled, they will now compete next Thursday and Friday as part of the Phil Esten Challenge in La Crosse. The track & field meet scheduled for tomorrow at UW-Platteville will be held as originally planned.

Additionally, the women’s tennis team has each lost two contests while the men’s tennis team has lost three. Both teams were scheduled to play Sunday in Madison against Carroll University and Edgewood College but all events have been cancelled. Men’s tennis was also supposed to face Luther College (Iowa) Saturday but that event is also cancelled.

Men’s golf was originally scheduled to compete at the UW-Stout Invitational on Monday (April 15) but the event has been postponed to April 25.
