Todd Glaser enters his tenth season as head football coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2015-2016. In March 2006, he became the 15th head coach in program history.

Glaser’s first season as the Blugolds’ head coach ended 3-7, but came back as the sixth most improved team in the NCAA Division III with a 9-3 finish in 2007. In 2007 he led the team to a NCAA DIII playoff appearance for only the second time in program history. That year Glaser received Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Coach of the Year honors. The Blugolds finished second in the WIAC in 2007, followed by a third place finish in 2008.

Before his return to UW-Eau Claire, Glaser served as head coach at Marietta College in Ohio from 2003-2005. He led Marietta to its first back-to-back winning seasons in 10 years. In 2004, he received Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors. He increased the Pioneer’s squad size from 48 to 125 players during his three seasons. He was also involved in a drive that raised $2 million for a new football field, new football locker room, new softball field, and new soccer field at Marietta.

Glaser became a Blugold in 1987 when he played football for head coach Jim Lind. In the 1990 season, he served as team co-captain, accumulating 199 career tackles as a defensive lineman. Following his playing career, Glaser coached as a student assistant with Lind and the following three years Glaser assisted Coach Greg Polnasek. In 1997 and 1998 Glaser served as linebacker coach and strength and conditioning coordinator under Bob Nielson.

During his two years as defensive coordinator 2001 and 2002, the Blugolds produced 8-2 season records and shared the WIAC Championship in 2001. Both years the Blugolds had the second-ranked defense in yardage allowed in both years.

Glaser is married to Michelle and has three children, one son (Sam) and two daughters (Ella and Greta).

Glaser recruits for the following areas: Eau Claire – Chicago- Chicago Catholic, East Suburban Catholic.
