EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football schedule has officially been released for the 2019 season.

Full Schedule

Eau Claire will start the 2019 campaign on September 7th against Loras College at Carson Park. Following the matchup with Loras, the Blugolds will travel to St. Norbert College for their first road game of the season and will follow it with a bye. Eau Claire will finish the non-conference portion of the season September 29 at the University of St. Thomas.

Hired in February, first-year head Coach Wesley Beschorner looks forward to seeing his Blugolds in action.

"We are excited to start the season at home," said Beschorner. "It's always great to welcome the students back with some football."

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play will begin October 5 with a tilt against UW-Whitewater on the road. Eau Claire will then return to Carson Park the following week to host UW-River Falls on homecoming (Oct. 12).

The Blugolds will close out October with a matchup at UW-Oshkosh (Oct. 19) and at home versus UW-Platteville (Oct. 26). In November, Eau Claire will have two-straight road games (Nov. 2 at UW-Stevens Point, Nov. 9 at UW-La Crosse) before wrapping up the regular-season with a home game against I-94 rival UW-Stout on Nov. 16.

"We are ready to work hard and focus on one game at a time," said Beschorner. "This team is looking forward to a one-week season each and every week come fall."
