EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) – Head football Coach Todd Glaser and the UW-Eau Claire football team have released the Blugolds’ 2015 schedule.
The Blugolds will play at home six times next season, including three non-conference home games to start the year.
Eau Claire will open the season against the University of St. Thomas on September 5.
“We are excited to have six home games this season,” said Glaser. “We have another tough non-conference schedule which we feel will help us get ready for conference play.”
The Blugolds will begin Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play on October 3 at UW-Stevens Point and host their first WIAC contest the following week against UW-River Falls for Homecoming on October 10th.
The 2015 campaign will feature four night games at Carson Park, all three non-conference contests and the October 17th match-up with UW-Stout.
“We are focused on creating a great atmosphere,” said Director of Athletics Dan Schumacher. “With all the pre-game festivities and playing under the lights, Blugold football games will be a fun, exciting event for students and fans of all ages.”
