OSHKOSH, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Football team ended the 2015 season on Saturday with a 38-0 loss against the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans at Titan Stadium.

The Blugolds held the No. 3 ranked Titans scoreless until midway into the 2nd quarter, but then surrendered five straight touchdowns while failing to score. Third downs conversions were the downfall for the Blugolds on offense who only converted 1 of 12 tries.
Gerald Childs (So. – Brookfield, WI) had a solid day in the backfield rushing for 77 yards on 17 carries with a long of 22. JT Denhartog (Fr. – Hopkins, MN) got the start under center rushing for 44 yards but Joel Newman (Sr. – Red Wing, MN) saw some action in his final game in a Blugold uniform coming in to pass for 17 yards on 2 of 9 passing.
Dillon Kempen (So. – Suring, WI) led the Blugolds on defense with 13 total tackles including 1.5 tackles for a loss and a pass breakup. Jayden Dobbs (Sr. – Athens, WI) tallied 12 tackles and was in on a tackle for loss to have a solid day on his final game as a Blugold.
Eau Claire wraps up the season with an overall record of 0-10, with a 0-7 record in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
