The UW-Eau Claire football team and 18th-ranked UW-Platteville are meeting for the 54th time in history Saturday for the Blugolds' Homecoming and Hall of Fame Game along with the WIAC opener. Kickoff at Carson Park is set for 2:30 p.m.

THE SERIES
Platteville leads the all-time series 30-22-1 and has won five in a row going back to 2010. Between 1996 and 2009, the Blugolds won 13 out of 14 games. View Series History
HOMECOMING
This will be the 89th Homecoming Game in school history and the 10th against UW-Platteville. Against the Pioneers on Homecoming, the Blugolds are 5-3-1 with Eau Claire winning the last three meetings (2009, 2001, 1999). Platteville's last win on the Blugolds' Homecoming was Oct. 14, 1995 (12-7). The Blugolds are 53-27-8 all-time on Homecoming. View Homecoming History
HALL OF FAME
Five new members will be added to the Blugold Hall of Fame Saturday with the induction luncheon scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. in Davies Center. The new class includes football players Bill Perkins and Tyrone Cooper, softball players Heidi (Bergstrom) Kelly and Lisa Schueler and swimmer Bill Underwood. The five will be honored at halftime of the football game. View More Information
