The UW-Eau Claire football team will play its first game at home this season Saturday against 10th-ranked Pacific Lutheran University (Wash.). The game is the Blugolds' Hall of Fame Game and will kick off at noon at Carson Park.

HALL OF FAME GAME
Saturday's game is the Blugolds' Hall of Fame Game. UW-Eau Claire's seven new inductees into the Blugold Hall of Fame will be recognized. There are a number of other hall of famers that will also be in attendance at the game. The Super Six winners will also be recognized at halftime. HONORING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Prior to the game, the members of the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Championship team will be presented with their national championship rings.
ABOUT THE LUTES
The Lutes, who are 2-0 this season, are coming off a season where they finished 7-3 and competed in the NCAA Division III playoffs, falling in the first round to Linfield College 27-24. It was their first appearance in the playoffs since 2001 but they have been in the NCAA Division III playoffs five times, winning the national title in 1999. Prior to 1997, Pacific Lutheran competed in NAIA Division II. The Lutes have faced just three other WIAC schools (La Crosse, River Falls, Stevens Point) in six games but River Falls is the only team they have faced in the regular season since joining NCAA Division III. They are 3-3 all-time against WIAC schools, 2-2 in the regular season, and have played in Wisconsin just three times, including a playoff game against Concordia University (Wis.).
