EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The start time for UW-Eau Claire football's season opener at Carson Park against the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) has been moved back two hours to 3:10 p.m., Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon announced today.

Originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 1, the change was necessary to allow participants and spectators of both the 30^th Annual Leader-Telegram Buckshot Run and the Blugold football game to enjoy their time at Carson Park.

Following the Blugolds' season-opener against the eighth-ranked Tommies, Eau Claire will be home again the following Saturday (Sept. 8) for a contest against Saint John's University (Minn.).
