WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's and women's cross country teams on back in action Friday, as the Cardinals host the No-Limit Invitational on the SMU Trails.

SMU No-Limit — A Year Ago:
The SMU men, led by David Feather (Oak Creek, Wis.), placed second in the inaugural invitational, while the Cardinal women, fueled by freshmen Kristen Thelen (Rochester, Minn.) and Amy Spitzmueller (New Brighton, Minn.), collected a fifth-place finish.

Cardinals' Last Action:
The Cardinals, fueled by the experience of David Feather (Oak Creek, Wis.) and Peter Borash (Bowlus, Minn.), placed fifth in the 14-team St. Olaf Invitational last Saturday in Northfield, Minn. The SMU women, meanwhile, settled for a 14th-place showing among the 16 teams competing.

Cardinals Up Next:
The Cardinals are off until Oct. 8, when they travel to Waverly, Iowa, to take part in the Wartburg Dan Huston Invitational.
